OUR PURPOSE
Social Justice Emotional Response Collective provides on-demand brief assessment and crisis stabilization services, referrals, and case management during times of social unrest. We prioritize the emotional needs of Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) by staffing volunteers with shared identities. Thank you for being curious about our work! There are many layers that are necessary to organizing a mental health mutual aid program. Currently we are seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide on-site and virtual brief assessments and crisis intervention services, non-clinical emotional support professionals (e.g., clergy, reiki/massage practitioners, herbalists, etc.) and administrative support (e.g., communications, data entry, case management, etc.) who are available for shifts e.g., 4 hour blocks. We are also open to folk seeking an internship placement for class credit.
